Laminate is the most popular floor in Israel: a great look, high wear resistance and easy care. Quality is decided mainly by the density of the HDF core and the strength of the click joint – not by thickness alone. A good 8 mm board can outperform a poor 12 mm one.
AC4/AC5 ratings measure wear, not scratches – and AC5 is not automatically better than a quality AC4. We usually recommend boards with bevels: small joint imperfections show less, and it's part of the look.
